Ethiopia

The objective of this project is the reforestation of arid, infertile hills as a result of deforestation and erosion. Reforestation is carried out in collaboration with peasant cooperatives. In compensation for their work, the Foundation helps farmers manage and conserve water. This water allows them to plant vegetables and fruit trees. Thus, reforestation not only preserves nature, but also improves biodiversity and the climate while ensuring, in the long term, the improvement of the quality of food.
